A burnt dead body was found in Sharma’s car on Noida-Greater Noida Expressway on May 2, 2014 and it was presumed that he died accidently. Following an allegation by his wife that her husband was murdered by land mafia against whom he had filed RTI applications, the UP police took up the investigation.
During probe, it came to light that a girl in his neighbourhood was also missing and her phone was put under surveillance. As the police found to be active in Bangalore, a police team reached Banglore and found that she was living with Chandra Mohan Sharma, who was presumed to be dead.
The police is examining that if the “dead” person is alive, who was the person whose body was recovered in the Chevrolet Aveo.
