Goa Cabinet Scorecard : 94 indoor visits in one year

As per information provided to an applicant who filed application under the Right to Information (RTI) Act seeking information about the official visits made by the Chief Minister of Goa Mr. Manohar Parrikar and his ministers, it has been revealed that a total of 94 visits were made by them within India. The general administration department has provided the details of the travel during a period covering the first year of the CM after being elected to power.
As per the details, 30 out of the total of 94 official visits were to Mumbai which culminated in return on the same day or an overnight stay. The maximum travel was done by the CM who made 29 official visits. Out of these 11 visits each were made to Delhi and Mumbai; two official visits each to Gujarat and Pune; a visit each to Hyderabad and Kolkata and a two-day official trip to Dehradun.
Amongst the eleven ministers, the transport minister Sudin Dhavlikar travelled the most with 15 official visits - five to Delhi, four each to Mumbai and Chennai, and two trips to Bangalore.
