Five more corruption case of CWG likely to be closed

The Common Wealth Games (CWG) were held in Delhi between October 3-14, 2010 and allegations of corruption were made in respect of many projects. Earlier, reply to an application filed under the RTI Act had shown that the 12 cases were closed by the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) after investigation. Reported by this site -

. It has now been reported that the CVC is likely to close probe in five more cases of alleged irregularities.
Currently 28 cases are under different stages of investigation while another 13 cases are under investigation by the CBI.
