Submissions made by Appellant and Respondent during Hearing:
The appellant submitted that he is not satisfied with the reply of the CPIO on points no. 2 & 3 of the RTI application. The CPIO submitted that an appropriate reply was provided to the appellant on 22.05.2018.
From a perusal of the relevant case records, it is noted that the reply provided on points no 1 & 3 was proper, however on point no.2, only an interim reply was provided to the appellant. On this point, the CPIO submitted that the remuneration was credited to the appellant. Even if the remuneration was paid to the appellant, the CPIO has failed to provide any categorical reply regarding the EL.
Based on the above observations, the CPIO is directed to provide the relevant information to the appellant with regard to the provision of the EL for the faculties who had taken the Summer term in the year 2017 as sought for by the appellant on point no. 2 of the RTI application. This direction is to be complied with within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of this order under intimation to the Commission.
The appeal is disposed of accordingly.
