The information about the tax returns in certain cases is actually the classic "chicken or egg" situation. Till the information is available, the suspicion of fraud cannot be proved or disproved. But if the information is provided without any evidence, there is a possibility of misuse of such information. 

Some solution must be found to come out of such quagmire.

Sweeping denial of information in all cases could lead to the tax evaders going out of the tax net. Disclosure of professional or commercial data could cause irreparable harm.
