Helpline numbers set up in Nashik to net corrupt officials

The local unit of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) at Nashik has declared setting up of a telephone helpline to catch the bribe-seekers and install fear amongst them. In case any government official demands bribe for getting any work done, general public can contact through the helpline numbers.
Mr. Jitendra Bhave, convenor of AAP has announced setting up of a 60-member flying squad to assist citizens in grief. Two helpline numbers (9823026131 or 9823209131) have been activated which will be attended by members who in turn will alert the team to take appropriate action. The team comprises of lawyers, RTI activists, social workers and those handling anti-corruption cases.
The city unit of AAP is said to have enrolled over 30,000 members including 15,000 online registrations.
