Copy of two member Committee report of 123 Waqf Properties was denied claiming that it is under examination and is subjudice - Respondent: This Appeal was already adjudicated by the Bench in a similar matter of another applicant - CIC: No power to review

Delhi assembly to disclose its proceedings proactively under RTI

The Delhi assembly has been directed by the Central Information Commission (CIC) to proactively disclose information in Hindi and English on its website regarding:
·its proceedings,
·the legislations introduced and passed, and
·information on the proceedings of all committees of the House.
The CIC also directed the assembly secretariat to provide live telecast of assembly proceedings through the website. The complainant had contended that there was a gross violation of Section 4 of the RTI Act which puts an obligation to put a proper mechanism in place to provide access the citizens regarding the functioning of the assembly.
