What to do if somebody is asking information with fake address?

Comment:
What to do if somebody is asking information with fake address? The same person uses different addresses which are not correct. For example, the address and place do not match and moreover, the pin code mentioned does not belong to that area. Only gmail account is created and the information is asked.

The RTI Act prescribes that any CITIZEN can seek information and the only CONTACT DETAILS are required to be provided.
Our view is - If the PIO has doubt that it is not a citizen seeking information, necessary enquiries may be carried out witin the time limit prescribed under the RTI Act.
