Trial of RTI activist murder case progresses

Saira Bibi, the sister of RTI activist Nyamat Ansari, who was killed on 2^nd March, 2011 has identified the seven accused in the district court of Ganesh Dutt. She also recorded her statement in the court identifying the accused. 

Ansari was a member of the Gram Swaraj Abhiyan, an organisation which acted as the watch dog of MGNREGA which exposed corruption in the centrally sponsored scheme. He was killed last year and seven persons were named as accused in the FIR.
