RTI workshop held at Imphal

A two day workshop on training of the trainers on using RTI was held at Hotel Nirmala of Imphal on the 27^th and 28^th April. The workshop was financed by the British High Commission, India and organized by Macha Leima where Kh Gomti, retired district sessions judge attended as the Chief Guest. The Macha Leima chairperson Th Mohini attended as the president respectively. Macha Leima is a pioneering women organization in empowering women to utilize the RTI Act.

The panelists included IFP Resident Editor Irengbam Arun, Dr L Debabartta Roy of CORE, advocate Rakesh Meihoubam and RTI activist W Joykumar.
