RTI Week to be observe in Mizoram

The Chief Information Commissioner of the Mizoram State Information Commission (SIC) Mr. Lal Dingliana has informed that the state government will observe RTI Week across the state between 5^th to 12^th October.

For the inaugural function at Vanapa Hall, the Chief Minister Mr. Lal Thanhawla would be invited for as Chief Guest. Programmes are also planned at the District Information & Public Relations Department.

It is planned to publish a booklet on RTI which would be distributed to the government offices and to citizens to acquaint them with the Right to Information (RTI) Act. Awareness programme on RTI are planned at Kolasib and Lawntlai on October 8 which will be attended by Chief Information Commissioner and State Information Commissioner respectively.
