RTI can bring about real independence

On the independence day, I was sitting around hearing the patriotic songs on an occasion which has become a two day tamasha in the country - 26th January and 15th August. We forget about the country on the other days and remember the great leaders and martyrs on just these two days. As a citizen, are we participating in the working of the country? Are we aware of what is happening around us? Are we really free and independent? 

Each one of us needs to think and decide for himself as to what role he wants to play or is playing in the development of the country. RTI can bring about real independence - the swarajya which our leaders had dreamt of. It is the strongest tool for a common citizen to use against oppression. Let us resolve that each one of us would effectively participate in the laying the foundation for a better future.
