1. Appellant through his RTI application had sought for information in relation to a news item titled “HC ex-judge to determine ‘exact Delhi Lahore distance” Namely, Is it true that DTC is involved in some court case at Delhi High Court with private bus operators on issue of Delhi Lahore distance, Copy of the agreement between DTC and bus operator both when signed originally and at time of renewal, mentioning the name and address of concerned bus operator.. etc
Ground for Complaint:
2. Non furnishing of information within the prescribed period.
Decision:
3. Both the Parties made their submissions. The respondent authority stated that they have not got the RTI application of the appellant at all. The applicant showed the proof of receipt by the respondent authority, which was redirected to the new address of the respondent’s office.
4. The Commission has handed over a copy of the RTI application to the respondent officer during the hearing, who in turn has agreed to provide information by 20th February 2015 at 2.30 pm. In View of the same, the present appeal is disposed off and posted for compliance on 20th Feb 2015, at 2.30 pm.
