FAQ

Can an appellant request for his/her appeal to be heard out of turn by the Central Information Commission (CIC)?

Ordinarily, the appeals/complaints are taken up for hearing on first come first serve basis and the exceptions to this are:-

1. Wherever the Respondents/Appellants have a number of cases, efforts are be made to club such cases so that they could be heard on a single day.

2. Preference is given to Senior Citizens and physically challenged persons for an out of turn hearing.
