FACTS
The Appellant vide RTI application sought information, as under:-

The APIO / Tehsildar (Vasant Vihar) vide letter dated08.07.2022 furnished a reply to the Appellant. Dissatisfied with the reply of the CPIO, the Appellant approached the FAA.The FAA vide order dated 02.08.2022, directed the SPIO / SDM (VV) to provide copies of requisite information to the Appellant.
Thereafter, the Appellant filed a Second Appeal before the Commission.

The Appellant while reiterating the contents of the RTI Application submitted that no information has been furnished to him so far. The Respondent agreed to furnish information to the Appellant.
DECISION:
Keeping in view the facts of the case and the submissions made by both the parties, the Commission directs the CPIO to collect and furnish correct information to the Appellant, strictly in accordance with the spirit of transparency and accountability as enshrined in the RTI Act, 2005 within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of this order under the intimation to the Commission. The Respondent may redact the personal details of the third parties. Further the Commission also takes a serious view of the respondent’s act of not furnishing correct information. Therefore the Commission directs the CPIO to submit a written statement to the Commission, explaining reasons , along with the comments of the First Appellate Authority, within a period of four weeks from the receipt of this order, both by post and by uploading on http://dsscic.nic.in/online-link-paper-compliance/add.
The Appeal stands disposed accordingly.
