FACTS:
2. Appellant through his RTI application sought information with respect to Justice Shri Satyaranjan of Bombay High Court, whether any impeachment proceeding going on against him, how many complaints lodged against him, whether mental fitness certificate given or checked of him, collegiums procedure of his selection..etc. PIO on point no. a,b & f replied that no such information is available and for point no c to e replied that procedure for appointment of judges is based on memorandum of procedure prepared in 1998. Being unsatisfied with PIO reply made first appeal, FAA upheld the PIO reply. Unsatisfied with FAA order, appellant made second appeal before the Commission.
Proceedings Before the Commission:
3. The appellant made his submissions through video conference from Aurangabad. The Public Authority is not represented by any officer. The appellant submitted that he wanted information about the complaints received against Justice Satyaranjan of Bombay High Court. He has sent 3 complaints in this regard to the respondent authority. He was told that the same were forwarded to the Registrar, Bombay High Court for necessary action. But the appellant wants that the said complaints should be sent to the Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court, who is competent to take action on the complaints against the Judges. The Commission having accepted the plea of the appellant, directs the respondent authority to forward the complaints of the appellant mentioned in his RTI application, to the Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court within one month from the date of receipt of this order. The appeal is disposed of.
