UPSC challenges 13 orders of CIC, petitions filed with higher judiciary
28 Feb, 2013Reply to an application filed under the Right to Information (RTI) Act has revealed that the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has challenged thirteen orders of the Central Information Commission (CIC) in the Delhi High Court. Four of the cases went to the Supreme Court after the high court ruled against the UPSC and the special leave petitions were filed in the Supreme Court. The RTI reply has further revealed that the UPSC has carried implemented nine orders of CIC. Questions relating to the disclosure of the answer sheets of the Civil Services Mains exam were the ones which remained unanswered.
