There are no systematic efforts to deal with corruption
17 Dec, 2012A broad look at the efforts to deal with corruption over the last 5-6 decades indicate that there has been no systematic efforts to deal with corruption. Whatever measures have been taken are ad-hoc or partial and are not likely to bear fruits. An ineffective CVC, a politically controlled CBI, sleeping judiciary and the public who is not aware of its rights or fails to use them effectively are the perfect recipe for a disaster as is evident in India. Will the situation change - I have strong doubts. Lest I be labeled as a pessimist, I wishing you site the best. This small albeit important effort from you can at least 'educate' the 'literate'. - Gyan Prakash Bajpayee
