Comment: Extremely funny and arbitrary verdict. One must bear in mind that a public sector bank is funded by Central Govt, with taxpayer's money. Any act of managerial misdemeanour on the part of such bank resulting in huge losses occasioned through loan defaults, such as those in Kingfisher Airlines, Deccan Chronicle, etc., will ultimately fall on taxpayers. Anything that prevents the affected public from knowing about such grave lapses is certainly not in the interest of good governance.
