No clues in the Udupi RTI activist missing case
12 Jan, 2013Vandaru Vasudeva Adiga, a Congress party worker and RTI activist has been missing for almost a week. He went missing since Monday night near Goliangady in the Shankaranayana police station limits. The superintendent of police of Udupi Shri M.B. Boralingaiah has informed that the police is investigating the case from different angles.
His mother Shrungeshwari has pointed to a long pending land dispute with his neighbours, Ramesh Bayiri, Krishnamurthy and Shankaranarayana Bayiri which is being examined by police.
There have been many attacks on the RTI activists all over the country.
