Excluded agencies to provide information related to corruption

An
intelligence and security organisation specified in the Second Schedule of the RTI Act, cannot withhold information regarding corrupt practices and irregularities in the organisation. Such practices may pertain to
manipulation
of secret services fund and nepotism in
appointments,
the CAG’s
performance
audit, and corruption in the purchases or any other such matter. Mr. VK Mittal, a former Joint Secretary of the National Technical Research Organisation, has raised the issue which had gone up to the CIC.
