Harassment of RTI applicant indirectly by making the mode of payment of additional fees as cash

Comment: Respected Sir, It is really true that the state govt. is harassing the RTI applicant indirectly by making the mode of payment of additional fees as cash.I think all modes of payment may be accepted by the state got. By suitably amending the rule. for example :- in a recent case I had applied for some information under RTI act 2005. While the PIO intimated for additional fees he had issued a direction to pay the fees by cash, which is a indirect harassment. If I go personally to pay the additional fees, then I have to incur Rs.250.00 minimum expenditure to reach the PIO. In view of the above the mode of cash payment may be suitably amended.
