The appellant wanted information pertaining to 3500 candidates – their names, roll numbers, reference number, category, fathers name, fathers business with complete address, education qualification, additional qualification, total time provided by interview board etc along with information pertaining to roll number 7310001805 and differentiation of reserved category candidates who secured place under normal category from among these candidates. The PIO provided marks secured by her in each of the five subjects for which she had appeared but was denied disclosure of information regarding the other candidates under the provisions of section 8 (1) (j) of the Act. The FAA order concurred with the PIO.
