CIC: Furnish certified extracts of register of attendance of the appellant & inform the method by which the public authority rendered payment of grants to him - CIC issued SCN to the PIO & granted compensation of Rs. 1000/- to the appellant
The appellant sought to have following information:
1. Audit report of financial year 2008-2011 along with teachers attendance register
2. How much money/grant was paid to him in year 2008- 2009
CPIO: CPIO gave copy of attendance register along with copy of audit report
FAA : NO FAA order
3. The appellant has worked as professor of astrology in the respondent university till 2012. He says that he was given copy of attendance register only for one year, which is incomplete. The public authority claimed that grants were being given to him for 2008, and 2008-09. Appellant says that he did not receive any grants, and that is why he is seeking the information about the mode of payment made to him, if any. This was not given. The appellant says he was getting Rs. 7000/- grant p.m but he was wrongfully shown as absent for 6 months during 2008-2012 and he was not paid for those months.

The Commission directs the respondent authority to furnish certified extracts of register of attendance for the years 2008-2011, inform the modes and methods by which the public authority rendered payment of grants to him in the year 2008-2009, provide copies of complete audit reports of years 2008-2012 and pay compensation of Rs. 1000/- for not giving complete information, within 15 days from the date of receipt of this order and send compliance report to the Commission immediately. The Commission directs the Mr. Kameshwar Chaudhary, CPIO to show-cause why maximum penalty should not be imposed against him, for giving incomplete and wrongful information, within 21 days from the date of receipt of this order.
