The appellant wants the certified or true copies of complete call & SMS details of Mobile No. 9923354185 from 15 Sept 2008 to 15 Nov 2008.
Grounds for the Second Appeal: The CPIO has not provided the desired information.

Respondent: Shri R R Tiwari CPIO
The appellant stated that he wants his CDR for the period 15/09/2008 to 15/11/2008. The CPIO submitted that the identity documents submitted by the appellant to the service provider have been destroyed as the retention period for such information is 3 years from the date of permanent disconnection of the mobile phone. He further informed that the subscriber’s name as recorded with the service provider is Mr. Sudhakar Chaudhary. The appellant pointed out that his name has been erroneously recorded as ‘Chaudhary’ whereas it should read as ‘Chaturvedi’ and pleaded that the matter concerns his life and liberty. The CPIO stated that they had requested the service provider to preserve the information and it will be provided to the appellant if still available with them.
Decision notice:
As stated by the CPIO he should write to the service provider to furnish the CDR of the appellant’s mobile no. 9923354185 for the period 15/09/2008 to 15/11/2008 to him within 30 days from the date of receipt of this order. The appeal is disposed of accordingly.
