FACTS:
2. The Complainant through his RTI application dated 17.09.2012 had sought information from Max Fort School regarding transportation of students (Pick and drop from school). On nonreceipt of the complainants RTI application by the school authorities, the Complainant has approached the Commission u/s 18 of RTI Act.
Decision:
3. The complainant made his submissions. Max Fort Public School is not represented by any officer. The Commission heard the story of the complaint, who narrated that his son was grievously injured in a road accident caused by a school bus and the complainant does not know the details of the bus, except its last four digits. In view of this, he wrote to all nearby schools to supply the details of their buses and he has got information from all the schools, except the respondent school, which is located in Pitampura, North West District. Without going into the question of the respondent/school, being the Public Authority under the RTI Act, or not, the Commission recommends the said school to consider giving the desired information to the complainant, as his son is a victim in the road accident. The DDE (North West District), Directorate of Education, Pitam Pura is also directed to collect the relevant information from the said school, and furnish the same to the appellant, within one month from the date of receipt of this order.
4. The complaint is disposed of.
